Recently I conducted a digital diary, or recorded my daily life with anything technological, for five weekdays and I realized a lot of things that I hadn't realized before. I realized during a normal week I spend way too much time watching Netflix and playing video games. I spend a total of 16 hours playing video games and a total of 17 hours watching Netflix. All together in a week that is 33 hours total. That's almost a 40 hour work week of television. I could be using this time to get a job and actually make money. I am also very connected to my phone as well. I spend a total of 12 hours a week checking my social media. This consists of 5 hours of Twitter, 5 hours of Instagram, and 2 hours of Facebook. I have a problem with checking my social media constantly to stay connected. I spend a total of 5 hours a week play games on my phone to pass the time when I'm bored. Whether it's Clash of Clans or Angry Birds 2 I always play way too much. The last thing that I do a lot of that I don't see as a problem is listening to 10 hours of music at least every week. Music makes the week go by quicker, helps me concentrate, and gets me through hard times.
The digital life is often said to consume our generations lifestyle and I always thought that wasn't true, but after conducting this digital diary I realize that it's true for me. I spend way too much time on all my digital devices whether its television or my phone. I want to try and get away from all this technology and try to interact with people in person rather than looking at my phone or television screen.

My Playlist, My Self
"What You Give" Tesla - Source:
As kind of an introduction of myself to everyone I wanted to post a song that I would say is one of the most inspirational songs that i know. I've known this song since i was a young kid, and i actually saw them live in concert and they played this song. The lyrics in this song really have a lot of meaning to me and i plan to get a tattoo of the main chorus that says "It's not what you got, it's what you give. It's not the life you choose, it's the life you live" This is saying that you can be the most talented person in the world but if you don't use what you have been gifted with then its a waste of the talents that you have been blessed with. Live to your full potential and don't let people hold you back. My father is actually the person that showed me this song along with many other inspirational songs, and whenever i hear the songs that he showed me it reminds me how much my life is worth and that i was put here for a reason. Whether it is to help my friends or the world i need to use my talents to their full potential.
Here is a list of other songs that are also kind of an introduction to who i am:
1. Train Kept a Rollin' - Aerosmith
2. Otherside - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Fences
3. People Are Crazy - Billy Currington
4. Drinkin' Town with a Football Problem - Billy Currington
5. Me, Myself, and I - G-Eazy featuring Bebe Rebxa
6. Act My Age - Hoodie Allen
